On day two we had another early start. Our day began at 6:20 am by loading our luggage on the marvi and having breakfast at 6:30 am. We departed San Jose and headed for Paos Volcano. The trip was expected to be 3 hours but we made a lot of stops along the way which made the trip feel short.
Our first stop was at INBioparque, where we explored the different ecosystems native to Costa Rica. It was filled with many different exhibits and trails - I was pleasantly surprised when we stumbled upon our first sloth!

The day was packed with excitement, traveling and many stops along the way. One of my favorite stops was a quaint little coffee shop - lets face it, we were all a little sleep deprived so I was happy to have the delicious caffeine. Coffee is Costa Rica's largest export. We learned that the smaller the bean the better the coffee - we were on our way to becoming coffee snobs.
